SITE HISTORY

Well, I'm not sure how it all started, but my site started out at geocities... it pretty much sucked for awhile. I knew html when I started my personal site because I had had btvs sites galore and had learned html from funkychickens and spent more than too much time at the library. (I didn't have my own computer)

I named my personal site A Perfect Dream... not sure why...? My site got pretty good, I didn't have too many visitors at first, maybe one a week... It was bad. Then finally I decided to buy my own domain... I couldn't find any combination of perfectdream.com, perfect-dream.net, or whatever that would work, so I started thinking of a new name for my site. At the time, my favorite band was evanescence, and one song that I really liked was going under. So, it came to be Going-Under.Org. I wanted going-under.net, but it was taken and I wasn't about to start thinking again!

Then after that, my domain name was going to expire and I wasn't liking going-under.org anymore, so I tried thinking of a name that wasn't a song, or a band, something that I would like for a longer time. I tried blue-sky... taken... azure is a different name for blue so i tried azure-sky.. taken... so I changed the spelling to get azure-skye.net =D

Then, I come to my Junior year at college and I've got money problems. Not a good thing. At the beginning of the year I changed my pay plan to pay monthly instead of all at once, and it still wasn't working so in Nov 2006 I closed down azure-skye.net and I sucked...then, visiting other sites I found a site that offered hosting for a pretty cheap price! So I started looking for new domain names again and was in love with a Superchic[k] song so I chose that one, Stand-In-The-Rain.Net. And there we have it.
